Bellingham, WA duo MELANCHOLIA have announced their debut album Book of Ruination. Set to release Nov 3 on LP/CS/CD/Digital via Brutal Panda Records.
Formed in 2018, the duo has already released three EPs that have made waves through the underground. Book of Ruination, their most ambitious release to date, is a meditation into the void of sonic darkness and esoteric philosophy… an immense journey through life, death, and what lies beyond.

In the mid 13th century while the Black Death ravaged medieval Europe, rumors spread of a marauding plague hag, The Pesta, who swept from village to village with her rake, taking her victims and leaving traumatized survivors. Now, hundreds of years later, in the wake of another deadly pandemic, time has shown us that despite our scientific advancements there are still those that cling to the same paranoid superstitions, and so she roams once more.
